Before You Reserve
What Lake Erie boat owners ask us first.
How much does winter boat storage cost?
Pricing depends on your boat’s length and beam, and on whether you store indoors or in our monitored outdoor lot. Send us your boat’s length and how you’d like to store it, and we’ll confirm availability and pricing within one business day.
What’s the difference between heated indoor and outdoor storage?
Heated indoor storage holds a consistent temperature all winter, which prevents freeze damage to your engine and plumbing and limits humidity-related wear on upholstery, canvas, and electronics. Outdoor storage in our monitored lot costs less and is usually paired with shrink wrapping for weather protection. Indoor space is limited and books first.
When should I have my boat hauled out on Lake Erie?
Most Lake Erie owners haul out between late September and the end of October, ahead of the first hard freeze. Booking earlier gives you a wider choice of dates and a better chance at indoor space — and it leaves room to schedule winterization at the same time.
Do you store boats from outside Lorain?
Yes. We store and service boats for owners across Lorain County, western Cuyahoga County, and the Sandusky Bay area — including Avon Lake, Vermilion, Rocky River, Bay Village, Westlake, Huron, and Sandusky. We also offer towing and haul-out, so you don’t need to move it yourself. See the full service area.
