Our Story
Every off-season it was the same scramble. Winterizing at one shop. Canvas and upholstery somewhere else. Custom lighting, audio, body work — another call, another schedule, another week without the boat.
We’re boaters ourselves. We’ve spent our summers on Lake Erie, and we got exhausted trying to line up enough specialized shops just to put our own boats away for the winter. Clean, secure storage was hard enough to find. Storage with real service attached was harder.
So we decided to build it. Halo Marine Storage and Service is the one-stop shop we always wanted — heated indoor storage, a monitored outdoor lot, and a full-service shop in the same building, minutes from the water in Lorain.
Our goal is to make top-end options available to every boater, not just the ones who already know where to look.
A Brand-New Facility Built from the Ground Up
Construction is underway at 1740 Henderson Dr. in Lorain. The facility is designed specifically for Lake Erie boaters — heated indoor storage for boats up to 34′ LOA, a secure monitored outdoor lot, and a full-service maintenance shop under the same roof.
